How It Works

Step 1

Fill out our pre-order form

Start by filling out our pre-order form. Tell us about your family, your lifestyle, what you’re looking for in a Labrador. Be honest. The more we know, the better we can match you with a dog that genuinely suits you.

This isn’t a complicated application. It’s a conversation on paper. We want to understand you so we can find the right dog.

Step 2

Pay your deposit

Once we’ve reviewed your form and everything feels like a good fit, we’ll ask for your deposit. This secures your spot in our queue.

This deposit isn’t lost if things don’t work out, it holds your place while we find and train your dog. Think of it as a commitment from you, and we match that commitment by finding exactly the right dog for your family.

Step 3

Await your position in the queue

You’re now in our queue. We’ll keep you updated on where you are and roughly when your dog might be ready.

Typical wait is around 4 months, but this varies depending on availability and how quickly we source and train your specific dog. We don’t rush. We find the right dog and develop them properly. That takes time, and that’s actually a good thing.

Step 4

We source your Lab and train to our standards

While you’re waiting, we’re working. We’re sourcing a Labrador that matches what you told us you wanted. Then we’re training them professionally to our standards.

This training is tailored to your specific requirements. If you told us you wanted a calm dog for a busy household, we’re developing that. If you said you’re active and want an energetic companion, we’re building that. Your dog is being prepared specifically for you.

They’ll learn obedience, recall, lead walking, settling indoors, and genuine reliability in real-world situations. Not just commands. Actual, useable training.

Step 5

Meet your Lab and introduce to your home

When your dog is ready, you get to meet them. This is the crucial bit. You’re not committing to anything until you’ve met them and you’re completely happy.

Spend time with your dog. See if the match feels right. Get to know them properly. If you’re not genuinely happy with the match, we’ll find you a different dog. Seriously. We’d rather you say no now than regret it later.

Once you’re happy, we arrange delivery or collection. We can bring the dog to your home, or you can collect from our facility. We handle the logistics.

When they arrive, we’ll help them settle. We’ll explain their routine, answer questions, and be genuinely available those first weeks.

Step 6

After support

We don’t disappear once your dog’s home. We’re here for support.

Before they arrive, we’ll prepare you. We’ll discuss their training, their routine, what to expect those first weeks. We’ll give you guidance on settling them in and maintaining their training.

After they arrive, we do friendly check-ins. We want to know how they’re doing. If you have questions, concerns, or need guidance, we’re available. We stand behind our dogs and support families genuinely.

Questions?

How long do I need to wait after pre-ordering?
Typical wait is around 4 months, but this varies depending on availability. We’ll keep you updated throughout the process.

You’re not committing to anything until you’ve met them and you’re completely happy. If the match isn’t right, we’ll find you a different dog.

Both options are available. You can collect from our Skipton facility, or we can arrange delivery to your home (cost varies by location).

We provide pre-arrival preparation, settling guidance, and friendly check-ins during those first weeks. We’re available for questions and support as you adjust to life with your new companion.

The deposit secures your spot in our queue. If circumstances genuinely change and you need to withdraw, we can discuss options. We’re reasonable people.
